Whispering Words Board Books

One of Jane's most significant projects was writing, illustrating, and designing a three-board book series based on ASMR for Gibbs Smith Publishers. The playful illustrations depict seashore and woodland life and a favorite subject: bedtime. The books use advanced vocabulary words and show detailed drawings, departing from the typical board book formats. Woodland Walk invites its readers into a soothing world of lush, colorful illustrations that await exploration. By whispering these stories, the voice becomes a dynamic instrument creating tones and vibrations, in harmony with the narrative, and creating an ASMR experience for both reader and child.
